ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "Three [situations] do not invalidate a person's fast: cupping (1), vomiting (2) and nocturnal emission (3)." Footnotes: (1) A treatment in which evacuated glass cups are applied to intact or scarified skin in order to draw blood toward or through the surface. (2) If vomiting overcomes someone while fasting, one should continue the fasting (if health allows) and there is no need to make up for that day. (3) Ejaculation during sleep (wet dream) does not break ones fast since dreams cannot be controlled. ”
